We do not collect payment card numbers, passwords, biometric data, or any sensitive personal information beyond what is listed above.

Your information is used for one purpose only: to serve you. Specifically:
- Processing and delivering your orders
- Contacting you about your order status or delivery
- Responding to your support requests or return queries
- Sending order confirmations and receipts
- Improving our service based on order patterns (no personal identification involved)
We do not use your information for unsolicited marketing, spam, or profiling.
We Never Sell Your Data
Your personal information is never sold, rented, or shared with any third party for commercial purposes. We do not work with data brokers, advertisers, or marketing companies. Your information stays with Fresh Bazaar — period.
Sharing with Third Parties
We share your information only with trusted services that are essential to running Fresh Bazaar, and only to the extent necessary:
- Delivery riders — receive your address and phone number to complete delivery.
- Email service (Resend) — used only to send order confirmations.
- Hosting (Render.com) — your data is stored on their secure servers.
All third parties are bound by their own privacy and security obligations and may not use your data for any other purpose.
How We Protect Your Data
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to keep your data safe:
- Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing — we cannot read your password.
- All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.
- Our database is hosted on a secure, access-controlled server.
- Staff access to customer data is restricted to what is needed to serve you.
Cookies
We use only first-party cookies that we set ourselves — never third-party, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies. These are:
- Login & cart cookies — keep you signed in and remember the items in your cart.
- Two small analytics cookies — these hold only a random, anonymous ID so that when you browse several pages we count you as one visitor instead of many. They do not store your name, email, phone number, or any personal detail, and we never use them to follow you across other websites, build an advertising profile, or share them with advertisers.
We use these counts only to understand, in aggregate, how many people visit the shop and which products are popular, so we can serve you better. Because every cookie we set is strictly first-party and essential to running and improving our own store, no advertising or tracking consent banner is required. You can clear or block cookies anytime in your browser settings; the only effect is that repeat visits may be counted as new visitors.
Your Rights
You have full control over your personal information:
- Access — ask us what data we hold about you at any time.
- Correction — update your name, phone, email, or address from your profile page.
- Deletion — request that we delete your account and all associated data. We will do so within 7 days.
- Objection — ask us to stop using your data for any purpose. We will respect that.

Children's Privacy
Fresh Bazaar is a general grocery service. We do not intentionally collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and notify active users. We will never quietly change our privacy practices without informing you first. You can always check this page for the current version.
